It is none the less interesting and a good review of a narrow field. Not quite the depth and color of other books in this series.
Like500 Tiles: An Inspiring Collection of International Work (500 Series) it is well worth buying for your own collection as well as teaching. 500 Plates & Chargers: Innovative Expressions of Function & Style (500 Series) Great collection of plates/chargers both functional and decorative. Use it for validation or stimulating your own creative processes or just for the joy of looking.
A great inspiration for those with a passion for pottery. The book provides beautifully photographed plates.
Like having dozens of galleries at your fingertips. It makes the world of potters and pottery more intimate. As with all of the "500" series books, this one was beautiful and, as a potter myself, I found it full of ideas and concepts. I love that these books are so varied in content.
A great addition to the library of any artist, not just potters. Like another reviewer, I am a practicing artist and am also collecting this series from Lark. This book has a fabulous variety of plates.
